ZipShare ("the App") is a file utility application that lets you create, extract, and share ZIP archives from photos and videos stored on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

ZipShare does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. The App operates entirely on your device. No data is sent to our servers or any third party.

2. Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

• Photos & Media (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO on Android 13+; READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 12 and below; NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription on iOS): Used to browse and select photos and videos that you want to include in a ZIP archive. The App reads only the files you explicitly select.
• Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / manage Downloads folder on Android): Used to save the generated ZIP files to the /storage/emulated/0/Download/ZipShare/ folder on your device.

All file access is initiated by you. The App does not access files in the background, does not monitor your media library, and does not retain any file paths or metadata after the App is closed.

3. How We Use Your Data

The media files you select are processed locally on your device to create or extract ZIP archives. The App does not upload, share, or analyze your files in any way beyond performing the ZIP operation you requested.

When you use the Share feature, files are shared through your device's native sharing mechanism (Android Sharesheet / iOS Share Sheet). ZipShare does not control or log which app you share files to.

4. Data Storage

ZIP files created by the App are saved locally to your device's Downloads folder. The App does not maintain any internal database of your files. Deleting the App removes all App-generated data stored within the App's private directories. ZIP files saved to your Downloads folder will remain until you delete them manually.

5. Third-Party Services

ZipShare does not integrate any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or any other third-party services that collect user data.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App collects no personal data at all, there is no risk of inadvertent data collection from minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
